SouthTech’s Digital Film & Broadcast
Academy offers students a learning
environment in preparation for technical careers and internships
in the world of film, video production and broadcasting. Upon
graduation, students are career and/or college-ready.
Curriculum
Instructors train students to become specialized in the technical
aspects of camera operation, lighting, grip and cinematography.
Students learn the fundamentals of pre-production, production
and post-production for filmmaking, television commercial
advertising, and news broadcasting. Graduates are also well-
prepared for post-secondary study.
Earning Power
A graduate of this academy can expect to earn a competitive
wage with unlimited growth potential in the film industry. Our
graduates can be employed as on-air talent, editors, directors
and producers.
