Transportation

All SouthTech Schools Students wishing to utilize transportation services must be registered. Please submit a transportation service request by completing the online application found below.  Please use only a residential address to register, as registrations that include a place of business may be declined.  After submitting your online application, you will receive an immediate email confirmation that your submission has been received. 

If completed during the school year, you will receive an email notification and bus assignment within 72-business hours after registration. During the Summer months or days school is not in session, response time may be longer. If applying during Summer months, you will receive a bus assignment for your student 2-weeks prior to the beginning of school. A&S Transportation will use all information provided in your online submission to confirm student eligibility and provide an appropriate bus assignment and route. 

During the registration process, you will be asked for a code.

SouthTech Academy Student (Grades 9 – 12) code: STECH

SouthTech Preparatory Student (Grades 6 – 8) code: STEC

By registering your student, you are agreeing to follow and instruct your student on appropriate bus behavior, as SouthTech Schools views busing to be a privilege. 

Parents are responsible to have their child at the bus stop 10-15 minutes before the scheduled time.  Parents & students are asked to wait up to 15-minutes after the stop-time for their bus to arrive.

All students must be standing and visible at the stop when the bus arrives. Drivers will move on to the next stop and will not be able to wait for tardy students. 

Only students with a valid bus pass will be permitted to board and ride the bus. 

Once assigned, students that do not utilize their assigned bus for two weeks or more, will be removed from the busses list and forfeit their seat.

Bus stops are determined by researching them for safety and may change only if deemed necessary by SouthTech Administration and/or A&S Transportation.

When your student has been assigned to a bus and a route, the information will be provided to you via e-mail for those with an e-mail address on file, and through the school for those that do not. You will receive your bus assignment a week or two prior to the first day of school if applied for during the Summer. No further information will be available until after the start of school.
