SouthTech’s Cosmetology Academy
provides students with real-world
knowledge and practical experience in a nurturing environment.
Upon graduation, students are career and/or college-ready.
Curriculum
Instructors train each student to industry standards and provide
certification through multidimensional trainings in the classroom
and the salon laboratory. Students learn procedures, applications
and techniques for all textures of hair, skin and nails. As part
of the progression in the academy, students will service peers,
family and clients from the community. After completion of the
program, students will be prepared for a variety of rewarding
careers and post-secondary study.
Earning Power
A graduate of this academy can expect to earn a competitive
wage with unlimited growth potential. By completing all required
hours and services, students obtain the knowledge and the skills
needed to be successful in the industry and college.
